About The Position
Media Services Student Assistants help with the daily operations of the Media Services department. This role involves assisting with the setup and operation of sound and projection equipment, working on video projects, and providing technical assistance at campus events. Additional special assignments may also be required. This is a temporary, part-time position for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 term, requiring a commitment of 10-15 hours per week at minimum wage.
Requirements
- Dependability
- Excellent customer service skills
- General knowledge of basic presentation equipment and applications, cameras, and video editing
- Flexibility to adapt to varying responsibilities based on daily needs
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours as well as regular business hours
- Currently authorized to work in the United States
