About The Position

The Media Production Specialist works with members of the Video Production Team and management to produce video content, webinars, and podcasts. The role includes recording video, editing, and other production-related tasks, including audio recording and editing. The specialist also supports studio and field productions, project intake and coordination, and file organization and archiving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Photography, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
• Facility with multimedia editing, including video, audio, and image editing.
• Commitment to continual learning and skills acquisition.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Patience and willingness to assist people who may be less knowledgeable in communicating their messages in multiple formats.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere editing platform.
• Knowledge of motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• Record video, edit content, and perform studio production tasks, including recording and editing audio.
• Travel to events to record and produce video content.
• Take initiative and make recommendations to ensure high-quality work.
• Serve as production staff during studio and field productions.
• Assist with project intake and production coordination.
• Assist with file storage organization and archiving.
• Proactively recommend ways to improve the quality and efficiency of assigned work and deliverables to management.
• Perform work independently and seek necessary resources.
• Stay current with evolving technologies in electronic communication and participate in learning and training as required.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
