About The Position

The Department of Journalism and Media Production at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. Responsibilities

Teach 3 - 9 credit hours in courses such as writing, video, and interactive media production at the 1000-level or above, including Media Production, UX/UI, and Media Entrepreneurship.
Be available for consultation with students.
Deliver course content to students, prepare course materials and lesson plans.
Grade student work and provide timely, robust feedback.
Address student questions consistent with university, college/school, and department policies.
Provide online or in-person academic support to students as needed and appropriate.
Provide instruction consistent with the content and learning objectives of the regular course syllabus and department course coordination policies.
Comply with university-wide student evaluation of instruction policies and peer observation policies.
Adapt and learn new modes of instruction.
Be sensitive to the educational needs of a diverse student population.
