About The Position

For over 35 years, Peak Technologies has been at the forefront of providing end-to-end enterprise mobility, managed services, printing and mobile data capture solutions for performance-driven organizations focused on the optimization of supply chain and field-based business processes. This Position is to provide media (supplies) cost estimating and product recommendation support for opportunities provided by the sales teams. Position will also be responsible for partner management for the media suppliers in Canada, including the assessment and qualification of new vendor partners.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Media (Labels, Supplies) Materials and Applications
  • Must have at least five (5) years prior sales operations support or procurement experience
  • Must possess a dynamic, entrepreneurial and passionate style, with the ability to gain trust among the team and develop strong customer relationships.
  • Must be detailed and results-oriented
  • Must execute multiple and varied tasks all in a timely fashion
  • Must have strong time management, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Must be organized, and possess determination to succeed, team-based attitude, and problem-solving ability.
  • Work independently to solve problems involving differing situations and ambiguity, requiring creativity to search for solutions among learned and unlearned alternatives. Frequent analysis, independent judgment and discretion are required to determine appropriate courses of action.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including ability to demonstrate excellent customer interaction skills.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze information to develop recommendations.
  • Demonstrate superb problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Manage many priorities simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines.
  • Primary language used in daily operations is French. Additional primary company languages include English, Spanish, and Dutch.
  • Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals and various correspondence from both internal and external
  • Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization

Nice To Haves

  • A 4-yr college degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and NetSuite preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Media Vendors for Canada
  • Provide Pricing Estimates for Media Opportunities based on specifications or samples
  • Provide technical and product recommendations to the salespeople on media related solutions
  • Assist Salespeople in the response to Request for Quotes and Proposals
  • Qualify new Media Vendor Partners
  • Serve as liaison between salesperson and media vendors as needed.
  • Create and manage Part Numbers in the ERP system.
  • Serve as liaison for salesperson for return authorizations to customers for product returns and oversee Return and Replacement order process.
  • Run backlog reports to be sure orders are on time
  • Utilize excellent oral and written communication skills with both internal and external customers at all times.
  • Manages vendor inventory positions (make and holds / Min Max).
  • Achieves operational goals set by the Company.
  • Work with other departments to solve customer related issues.
  • Supports corporate initiatives and decisions.
  • Performs other duties/special projects as assigned.
