About The Position

We are Shop Fix Academy, a business consulting company for Auto Repair Shops dedicated to setting owners up for success and empowering them with freedom and confidence. We are seeking a creative, technically-minded individual with broad knowledge and a willingness to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude and be committed to making our conferences and content exceptional.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field highly preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with Live Audio, Live Video, and Videography.
• Required software experience: Adobe Premiere.
• Basic use of Adobe Photoshop.
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or Apple Suite.
• Basic knowledge of Zoom, OBS, or similar.
• Possess an "all hands on deck" mentality and be willing to "get your hands dirty".
• Must be a people person and enjoy building relationships.
• Ability to make quick decisions in the best interest of the company.
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot, identify, and resolve problems.
• Must be able to think quickly on their feet and be "on top" of things at all times.
• Ability to work long hours / late nights during conferences.
• Must be coachable and able to listen to and implement advice and constructive criticism.
• Have a "go getter" attitude where actions speak louder than words.
• Must enjoy having fun.

Nice To Haves

• YouTube experience.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with ProPresenter.

Responsibilities

• Filming B-Roll and "talking head" style footage.
• Editing video content using Premiere Pro.
• Managing YouTube content.
• Understanding audio signals, setup/teardown, and EQ'ing for live audio.
• Running sound for events, primarily conferences.
• Understanding frame rate and video signals for live video.
• Managing live video setup/teardown, projection, and ProPresenter.
• Handling lighting and troubleshooting live video issues.
• Performing additional duties as necessary based on business needs.
