About The Position

KH + Madden is a full-service destination marketing agency that blends tech-savvy know-how with creative flair to help destinations shine. They are seeking a Media Buyer to own the end-to-end execution and optimization of diverse media portfolios. This role involves the seamless deployment of campaigns across self-serve platforms (Google, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, Spotify, and LinkedIn) and managing strategic vendor buys. The Media Buyer will also review vendor deliverables, coordinate asset trafficking, and work with external partners for flawless implementation. Daily monitoring of live data to identify trends and implement real-time optimizations that drive measurable ROI is crucial. The role includes managing monthly reporting workstreams and providing ongoing oversight to ensure pacing, targeting, and overall performance align with client objectives. Requirements

  • Experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and/or Microsoft Ads
  • Strong spreadsheet and budgeting skills (Excel is your friend)
  • A knack for turning data into clear, actionable insights-both for internal teams and clients
  • An eagle eye for detail and high standards for quality
  • A talent for managing multiple projects at once while staying organized and on top of deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Monitor campaigns across channels and targeting types (e.g., performance media, audience-based buying, remarketing) daily to identify areas of opportunity to optimize media
  • Set up, traffic, and manage media across a variety of self-service ad-buying platforms including Google, Meta, Pinterest, Reddit, Spotify, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Execute vendor buys post contract finalization, including the review of vendor deliverables, coordination of asset trafficking, and working directly with the vendor to ensure accurate campaign launch and optimization
  • Troubleshoot campaign issues and leverage campaign QA processes
  • Responsible for overseeing budget pacing and tracking
  • Monitor data daily to identify trends and implement optimizations that drive measurable results
  • Responsible for the management of monthly reporting requests and ongoing performance oversight to ensure pacing, targeting, and performance align with client objectives
  • Maintain required platform certifications and knowledge in digital marketing
  • Research trends and awareness in media benchmarks and key performance indicators
