About The Position
Watermark Retirement Communities is hiring a Med Tech to help provide safe delivery and administration of medications to residents in a senior living community. The role also allows time to develop meaningful relationships with residents. Watermark describes its care staff as “NAYAS,” meaning guides, people of wisdom, and leaders, and seeks associates who want to make a positive impact on the lives of those they care for.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a Med Tech training program.
- At least six months of experience in long-term care, home care, or a related field; preferably as a Med Tech.
- Able to work some holidays and weekends.
- Must enjoy being around and working with seniors.
- Team-building skills.
- Assessment skills.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interest in learning and growing one’s skill set.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a memory care environment.
- Prior experience as a Med Tech.
