About The Position

Aegis Living is hiring a Medication Care Manager to provide medication support and care for senior residents. The role is intended for a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) with Nursing Delegation who is interested in growing their career. The schedule is the PM shift, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The position pays $19.50–$20.00 per hour.

The Medication Care Manager dispenses medications, maintains administration records, communicates changes in residents’ conditions, and assists with physical care, meals, and activities. The role also involves effective communication and teamwork, relationship-building, organization, and supporting resident and family satisfaction.

Requirements

• Be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) with Nursing Delegation.
• Have knowledge of, or the ability to learn, the theory and practice of assisted living and Alzheimer’s care.
• Be skilled at building relationships with residents.
• Be able to maintain resident confidentiality.
• Be able to successfully complete the Aegis Medication Training Certification program.
• Have knowledge of and the ability to assist residents with medications.
• Meet all health requirements, including acceptable TB screening results.
• Be at least 18 years old.
