About The Position
Atria Senior Living is hiring a Med Tech (RMA) to support residents in its communities. The role assists with the daily administration of residents’ medications and maintains medication programs and related documentation, including distribution, ordering and receiving, file management, and storage. Med Techs also help older adults with doctor’s appointments, pharmacy needs, and daily living activities, while working cooperatively and ethically with other team members. On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth and advancement are provided. The listed wage range is $18.00 to $21.60 per hour, depending on prior work history and experience.
Requirements
- Meet the state-minimum requirement for experience, certification, and/or license; no additional experience is required.
- Have Certified Medication Aide, First Aid, and/or CPR certifications if required by the state.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily administration of medication to residents.
- Maintain resident medication programs and documentation, including medication distribution, ordering and reception, file management, and storage.
- Assist older adults with doctor’s appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities.
- Exhibit ethical behavior and work cooperatively with team members in support of residents.
- Participate in on-the-job training and pursue opportunities for career growth and advancement.
