About The Position
Bahama Bay Club is a growing, progressive Assisted Living/Memory Care Community in Sanford, Florida, serving residents in their homes. We offer resort-style assisted living and services, providing the highest level of care in the industry. We are seeking to add a few more high-quality Med Techs/Caregivers to our dedicated team. Requirements
- Med Tech certification for Med Tech positions.
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day.
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
- Available to work different shifts as needed, including nights and weekends (We alternate weekends with our team)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
- Supportive and compassionate.
- High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver.
- Take pride in providing high-quality care.
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background check
- Must be reliable and show up to work at scheduled shifts on time.
- Must be passionate about working with seniors.
- Solid employment track record of working 2+ years at one location.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pass meds according to policy and procedure - will train
- Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
- Assist clients with ambulation
- Assist with personal care and hygiene, assist with meals, and help keep residents mobile
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary, such as pet care
