Med Tech/ Nursing Assistant
About The Position
As a Medication Technician, you will have the ability to assist with medication administration consistent with resident support plans. This position is also responsible for providing direct care for the residents including but not limited to assisting residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, bladder and bowel management, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning and positioning, and documenting the care that was provided. Duties include completing over the counter treatments as instructed and answering resident call bells in 5 minutes or less.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Successful completion of the DHS-approved medications course.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication administration consistent with resident support plans.

- Document the care that was provided.
- Complete over the counter treatments as instructed.
