About The Position

A day in the life of a CNA at Westminster consists of providing heartfelt caring service to our residents. This includes assisting with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs. The role also involves taking vital signs and reporting observations and any change in condition to the nurse. Additionally, the Med Tech must practice infection prevention and control measures in compliance with Federal, State and facility requirements, and document in the CNA ECS flow-sheet promptly, accurately and comprehensively. The primary focus is ensuring the safety and well-being of the resident through frequent communication and kind attention to their needs.

Requirements

Must be currently certified in the State of Florida as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Must be CPR certified.

Nice To Haves

One year of long term care desirable.
Experience working with the elderly, handicapped or developmentally disabled adults preferred.
