Requirements

Able to pass pre-employment physical/TB test
Obtain fingerprint clearance as required by our licensure
Food Handlers' certification
First Aid certification

Responsibilities

Administers medications under the supervision of the Director and LVN Supervisor, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Assists with processing physician's orders for prescriptions and treatments, maintaining accurate records and observing residents' health changes.
Supervises and provides guidance to all associates and med techs, fostering a positive work environment and addressing performance concerns.
Coordinates staff schedules, orders supplies, and assists with resident medical appointments and admission/re-admission processes.
Responds to resident issues and uses proper judgment for care, documenting and communicating changes to the Director and LVN Supervisor.
Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dining room service, and records vital signs such as BP, temperature, and pulse rate.
