Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Med Surg Tele Nurse, you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. Requirements
- Associate's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- One (1) year acute care RN experience
- Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certificate
Nice To Haves
- One (1) year of pediatric RN experience
- Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent
- American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support certificate
Responsibilities
- Performs assessment/data collection in an on-going systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and cognitive status; also nutrition, pain, patient/family education, family involvement and patient advocacy
- Formulates a goal-directed plan of care that is prioritized and based on determined nursing diagnosis and patient outcomes
- Implements care in a thorough, skillful and consistent manner
- Establishes priorities for patient care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources of time, personnel, equipment, and supplies
- Evaluates effectiveness of care given by health care team members
- Effectively communicates with patients, staff and providers
