About The Position
The CNA provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN. The CNA anticipates patient and family needs, provides care proactively, individualizes and modifies care according to patient needs, and collaborates with other health care team members to enhance patient care. At HMC and WMH, completion of a fundamentals of nursing course may be accepted in lieu of CNA certification.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Certified Nurse Assistant credential (various).
