About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician for a full-time position with its client in Olyphant, Pennsylvania. The role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs automated machinery, robotic systems, and related electrical and mechanical equipment to support reliable manufacturing and automation operations. Compensation is $28.44 per hour, plus a $2 per hour night differential. Candidates must be flexible with shift options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.
• At least 2 years of experience repairing material handling equipment.
• At least 2 years of experience conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures.
• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting PLCs.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PLC programming.
• Experience with industrial robots and automation systems.
• Basic computer and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automated conveyor systems in the building.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and robotic systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
