Onsite

About The Position

ASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography systems that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. As a Mechatronics Engineer in Wilton, you will specify, design, develop, realize, integrate, and test modules, tools, and system-level solutions in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will contribute to mechatronics engineering deliverables that scale by job grade, from executing defined technical work to leading complex module development, shaping technical direction, and driving system-level integration across multiple designs.

Requirements

  • Requirements, interfaces, and technical specification management: Ability to identify, analyze, document, and manage requirements with traceability, translate them into clear specifications, and align interfaces for reliable downstream design, integration, and verification.
  • Engineering solution development: Ability to develop mechatronics concepts and solutions, make sound technical tradeoffs, resolve issues, and realize designs that meet functionality, performance, cost, compliance, and schedule constraints, including a deep understanding of control theory, structural dynamics, mechanical design and vibrational analysis.
  • Integration, verification, and validation: Ability to plan and execute verification and validation, ensure qualification evidence supports release readiness, and coordinate dependencies to deliver working, testable solutions.
  • Drives results by translating technical goals into clear priorities, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Demonstrates self-awareness by seeking feedback, adapting behavior, and improving collaboration in complex environments.
  • Values differences by seeking and integrating diverse perspectives and working styles.
  • Builds effective teams by establishing clear goals, roles, ways of working, trust, and accountability.
  • Drives vision and purpose by communicating direction, aligning people on priorities, and sustaining focus through ambiguity and change.
  • This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
