Symbotic is seeking Senior Mechatronics and Hardware engineers to join its Ohmni products team within its West Coast Technology Hub. The role involves owning and developing current products (OhmniCare, OhmniClean) and emerging healthcare robotics platforms. This position is responsible for the end-to-end development of advanced robotic hardware systems, from concept and architecture through prototyping, validation, and scalable production. The engineer will design electromechanical subsystems, integrate sensors and actuators, refine motion control and feedback systems, and work hands-on across product design, testing, manufacturing readiness, and production-line execution. Success requires a strong multidisciplinary skill set in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and robotics engineering, with the ability to collaborate effectively, optimize system performance, and continuously improve quality and cost. The individual will be a technical leader and proactive problem solver, driving complex robotic platforms from prototype to reliable, manufacturable, customer-ready products.
