Mechanics (2nd Shift)
About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring over 20 Mechanics in Mabank, Texas. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the teardown and rebuilding of turbine engines. You will either be focused on the mechanical or electrical side. Mechanical work will entail turning wrenches to assemble and disassemble equipment and industrial equipment, installations of mechanical parts and components. Electrical work will assist with cabling, wiring, testing, assembly and sub-assembly; build up consoles which include PLC’s, input/output modules, power supplies, terminal strips and other electrical devices. This is a full-time temp to hire opportunity.
Requirements
- 1 - 2 years of recent mechanical or electrical skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Can-do attitude
- Ability to pass a 7-year criminal background and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as a diesel mechanical or auto mechanic, aviation mechanic or any type of mechanical role where you had to turn wrenches all day (for Mechanical side)
- Experience as an electrician helper, certificates in electrical or electrical assembly with wiring or cabling (for Electrical side)
