About The Position

S.A. Comunale is seeking a Mechanics Garage Yard Coordinator. This position will be working in the mechanic garage performing various duties to ensure the efficient operation of the shop, maintain organization of equipment in the yard, ensure safety movement of lifts and vehicles. These duties include general staging and moving equipment, equipment placed in proper locations, cleaning equipment, picking up material from vendors if needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of related work experience is required.
• Ability to obtain a current DOT Medical Card is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clear driving record is required.
• Able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
• Average experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word and Excel) applications is required.

Nice To Haves

• Vocational or industry trade school is a plus.
• Previous experience operating lifts, tow-motor and forklift is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive lifts, lulls, tow-motors, and vehicles.
• Organization of equipment yard.
• Bringing equipment to the mechanics as needed.
• Running equipment prior to shipment.
• Staging of equipment for shipment.
• Drive Company vehicles to run errands when needed.
• Power wash returned equipment as needed.
• Be aware of surroundings to work safely.
