This position is based at the Honea Path Maintenance and Reliability Center, Honea Path, SC but will require periodic travel to support other PCA plants to provide support, installs or rebuilds. Must be willing/able to fly, out of state travel is required. In shop work will consist of tearing down corrugated box making machines and rebuilding them. Working as a team with fellow employees. Be a self-manager when traveling. Ability to use basic mechanical shop tools, such as band saw, welder, mills, etc. PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay. Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA replaces worn, broken, missing hand tools. PCA provides power tools, special and heavy tools. PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends.
