About The Position
WECTEC Staffing Services, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a 1-month contract role at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant. This position is part of a special project and requires strong mechanical aptitude within a nuclear environment. The role emphasizes safety and offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects supporting clean energy solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Nuclear Outage experience
- Mechanical knowledge and ability
- Must be able to pass a nuclear background and drug screen
- Respirator fit required
Nice To Haves
- Long handle tool experience
- Underwater cutting experience
- Decon tech experience
Responsibilities
- Work on a new project at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Plant.
- Perform tasks requiring strong mechanical knowledge and ability.
- Utilize long handle tools.
- Experience with underwater cutting is preferred.
- Experience as a Decon tech is preferred.
- Fit respirator requirements.
