About The Position

Corvid Technologies is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to support operations at White Sands Missile Range. The role supports varied maintenance and installation tasks related to systems used to design, build, and test suborbital systems, joining an existing team as Corvid expands its presence at the range.

Work includes maintaining and installing hydraulic cylinders, reciprocating pumps, and directional valves; fabricating and installing flexible hydraulic hose, rigid hydraulic lines, and high-pressure fittings; and maintaining and operating manual travel systems, including disassembly, repair, reinstallation, and testing.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Demonstrated experience maintaining or assembling mechanical systems, such as hydraulic systems, travel systems, vehicles, or trailers.
• Demonstrated experience using basic hand and shop tools, including impact wrenches and torque wrenches.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving challenges related to mechanical systems.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of trailer components, including tow bars, steering components, A-arms, changing two-piece wheels, and brake systems.
• Experience maintaining or installing hydraulic systems.
