About The Position

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment to ensure on-time availability and operational readiness. The role focuses on reducing equipment downtime, improving maintenance efficiency, increasing asset utilization, and supporting continuous improvement within the Maintenance Base (MB).

Responsibilities

Maintain assigned equipment according to established maintenance programs and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies.
Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to complete maintenance activities and standard work.
Record materials, supplies, labor costs, equipment movements, work orders, parts used, and maintenance history accurately in TLM systems.
Follow TLM Product Line standards, procedures, and maintenance requirements.
Support initiatives designed to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance-related nonproductive time (NPT).
Improve asset turnaround time by reducing delays related to maintenance, parts, repair approvals, equipment failures, and work-in-process.
Participate in failure investigations and troubleshooting as assigned.
Support efforts to improve Maintenance Technician productivity and efficiency.
Participate in planned repair and parts reuse initiatives to reduce the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on asset utilization, maintenance efficiency, and cost reduction.
Maintain compliance with the TLM Competency Management System and required technical standards.
