About The Position
A client in the contract manufacturing industry in the Buffalo, NY area is hiring a Mechanical Technician. This direct-hire role is performed on-site. The technician will set up and maintain manufacturing equipment, perform building maintenance, and carry out general fabrication such as welding, wiring, and machining. Pay is $20.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of mechanical work on machinery or heavy equipment.
- Experience with mechanical building maintenance work.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, work with tools, and be very mechanically adept.
Nice To Haves
- Machining experience.
- Welding, machining, and wiring skills are described as helpful.
