Requirements

Mechanical Technician Diploma/Certificate from an established technical program, and/or a Journeyman Certificate in a Mechanical Field.
Essential computer skills to work with existing and developing programs such as Maximo, MS Office, and a variety of equipment analysis interfaces and dataloggers.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driver abstract.
Analytical skills for problem-solving and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
A firm allegiance to safety with a deep understanding of safe operating practices and emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergencies, complete first responder duties and providing maintenance on-call to ensure 7-day, 24-hour coverage on a rotating basis.
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rotating and associated equipment, including valves, pumps, motors, turbine and/or PD meters, sampling systems, relief systems, and other mechanical equipment.
Coordinate activities with Supervisors, Planners/Schedulers, other Mechanical Technicians, Electricians, CCO, Regional Support, contractors, and PLM to plan, schedule, and complete all work safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Complete and stay current on all required safety and technical training.
Maintain facilities for cleanliness, safety, and security.
Assist Electrical, Operation, PLM Technicians and project teams as required.
Maintain facility records and update drawings as required.
Align with all company policies and procedures.
