About The Position

Ensure production equipment operates efficiently by performing equipment maintenance on a daily basis. This role requires a self-motivated, experienced, and dedicated individual capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions. The position is a temporary to hire role.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems on industrial equipment (including extruders).
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair gear boxes.
• Troubleshoot and replace bearings, chains, belts and pulleys.
• MIG weld, Stick weld, drill and tap threaded holes.
• Read mechanical prints.
• Troubleshoot and replace AC and DC drives, temperature controls, start/stop electrical controls.
• Troubleshoot PLC's.
• Replace and wire 3-phase motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
• Read electrical, building, machine and flow diagram prints.
• Perform basic plumbing skills, knowledge of fittings and thread types.
• Comply with all safety rules and procedures.
• Maintain and complete all required records.
• Perform other duties as required, or assigned by Supervisor.
