About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance (FM) Technician ensures the building's safe, efficient operation by performing preventive maintenance and repairs and events set-ups/breakdowns. Key duties include fixing general mechanical issues, responding to emergencies, and coordinating with vendors.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Capable of lifting, bending, and working on ladders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Previous maintenance experience or technical school training.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, plumbing, lighting, and electrical components.
  • Perform plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical fixes.
  • Serve as a primary contact for, and respond to, facility emergencies (e.g., fire alarms, security, HVAC).
  • Coordinate or supervise external contractors for specialized maintenance (elevators, fire systems, janitorial).
  • Working closely with events coordinators and catering staff to set-up / breakdown events and functions.
  • Log all work performed in a maintenance system, track inventory, and file reports on Corrigo Enterprise platform.
