Mechanical Tech III
About The Position
Assembles electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies and modules by working from samples, visual aids, prints, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets using appropriate tooling and machinery. Performs electronic and mechanical assembly operations such as wire termination, installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, high value torqueing and extensive attention to detail. Collaborate with team members and engineering team to produce quality products. Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans. Inspect results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Secret Clearance
- 2+ years of work experience in related field
- Needs to be able to read and interpret work instructions and mechanical drawings
- Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs
- Experience working with large complex builds
- Ability to become solder certified
- Effective communication and team work
- Computer literacy
- Experienced in electronic mechanical assembly
- Soldering Experience Per J-STD
- Ability to communicate well with others
