Requirements

• 5+ years of systems, mechanical systems, product integration, or multidisciplinary design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
• Experience writing requirements, managing interfaces, conducting trade studies, and planning verification.
• Ability to communicate across specialized engineering disciplines.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical and electromechanical system architecture, functional decomposition, and interface management.
• Requirements analysis for structures, fluids, thermal systems, sensors, pumps, heaters, and electrical isolation.
• Trade studies balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and revalidation impact.
• Verification and validation planning across subsystems and staged product changes.

Responsibilities

• Define system and subsystem requirements, boundaries, assumptions, and interfaces.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, thermal, fluids, materials, manufacturing, supplier, and CAE inputs.
• Lead system trade studies and document technical rationale, risks, and implementation constraints.
• Assess backward compatibility and revalidation impacts of proposed changes.
• Develop verification plans, requirement traceability, and phased implementation recommendations.
