Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Senior)

Boeing•Berkeley, MO
•$103,700 - $171,350•Onsite

About The Position

The Boeing Test Operations and Engineering (TO&E) team in Berkeley, Missouri, is hiring Experienced and Senior Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineers for its Instrumentation Installation Design group, supporting flight test programs. Design engineers synthesize requirements and create engineering definitions, 3D models, 2D drawings, and model-based definitions for mechanical hardware used to install flight test data systems. Because flight test hardware is installed in different areas of an aircraft, the role provides exposure to multiple areas of the platform. The work spans the design cycle, including requirements definition, layouts, coordination with electrical designers, preliminary design reviews, engineering release, coordination with manufacturing engineers and suppliers, occasional shipside support, and incorporation of changes. The team supports Saint Louis production programs including F-47, F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25A, and Weapons; team members may work across multiple platforms concurrently. The position is expected to be 100% onsite in Berkeley, Missouri. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance and program access. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. Candidates must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process and U.S. export control compliance requirements. Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Relocation is available based on candidate eligibility.
