About The Position
Due to new business awarded by our customer, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Simulation Engineer (MCAE) to join our engineering team.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in automotive electronic hardware design.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience performing FEM simulations using Abaqus.
- Proven practical experience in conducting implicit and explicit nonlinear simulations, including: Structural Stress and Strain Analysis, Modal (Natural Frequency) Analysis, Random Vibration Analysis, Shock and Impact Analysis, Thermal Expansion Analysis.
- Practical experience with material calibration for simulation purposes, including: Elastic-plastic material models for polymers, Hyperelastic material models for elastomers.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting the design and validation of automotive electronic hardware through simulation-driven development.
