About The Position

Step into a leadership role on high-impact healthcare construction projects as a Mechanical Project Manager. In this position, you'll help deliver a major ambulatory care center / dental clinic located at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, with expected mobilization in summer 2026. This role offers a salary between $130,000 and $150,000, along with a strong benefits package. As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for directing all on-site mechanical construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements. You'll collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams to coordinate day-to-day operations and keep the project on track. From preconstruction and design coordination through final delivery, you'll play a central role in meeting government standards, staying within budget, and achieving schedule milestones. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Additional coursework in project management, construction management and/or mechanical trades
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical scopes on projects valued at $5 million or more
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple projects of varying size and complexity
  • All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
  • Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Background in government, military, or large commercial construction preferred
  • Design-build project experience highly desirable
  • Experience working on healthcare facilities such as medical centers or dental clinics preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Primavera P6 preferred (training available)
  • Familiarity with BIM and CADD experience preferred (training available)
