Mechanical Preventive Maintenance Tech - Overnight
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Mechanical Preventive Maintenance Tech to perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other small equipment like vacuums. This is a full-time, overnight position with a pay rate of $20.00 plus a $1/hour overnight differential. The role is located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas. The position involves performing duty rounds, reporting and correcting noted problems, identifying issues, initiating work orders, and completing assigned repairs. Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace, managing tool inventory, and adhering to safety protocols are key responsibilities. Training will be provided, and assistance with other trades' maintenance requests may be required.
Requirements
- One year experience in a similar job required.
- Ability to read and interpret property blueprints.
- Skilled with using hand, power and diagnostic tools.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
- Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.
- Reports on and corrects noted problems.
- Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work space.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
- Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
- Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
- Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
