Mechanical Preventive Maintenance Tech
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tech to join their team at the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas. This is a full-time, first shift position responsible for performing preventive maintenance on various mechanical equipment throughout the hotel, including HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other small equipment. The role involves conducting duty rounds, identifying and repairing problems, maintaining an inventory of tools, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Training will be provided for the maintenance request system.
Requirements
- One year experience in a similar job required.
- Ability to read and interpret property blueprints.
- Skilled with using hand, power and diagnostic tools.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
- Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.
- Reports on and corrects noted problems.
- Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs.
- Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work space.
- Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
- Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
- Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
- Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
