About The Position

The Mechanical Preventative Maintenance Tech will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other small equipment like vacuums and more. This is a full-time position on the 3rd shift (overnight) with a pay rate of $19.85 plus a $1/hour overnight differential. The role is located at Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center.

Requirements

One year experience in a similar job required.
Ability to read and interpret property blueprints.
Skilled with using hand, power and diagnostic tools.
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment throughout the hotel.
Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.
Reports on and corrects noted problems.
Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplishes assigned work orders and does all necessary repairs.
Maintain a safe, clean and efficient work space.
Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
