About The Position

This role focuses on developing processes and work instructions for build-to-print parts, leading new product introduction (NPI) activities, and supporting production ramp-up. The engineer will also support machined component and complex assembly development, create and maintain essential documentation like bills of materials (BOMs), and facility/assembly line layouts. A key aspect of the role involves driving Lean/Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address production challenges and optimize workflow. The position requires a hands-on approach with expertise in fabrication, welding, and machining.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Associate’s in Engineering Technology with equivalent experience.
• 7–12 years of manufacturing engineering experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with machining, welding, and metal fabrication processes.
• Strong skills in process development, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Lean/Kaizen mindset and proven success driving continuous improvement.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder).
