About The Position
We�re currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our resort maintenance team. In this important role, you�ll help maintain the property�s mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, and facility operations to ensure a safe, comfortable, and exceptional experience for our guests and team members. The pay rate is $24.60/hr.
Requirements
- 3+ years of maintenance or mechanical experience required
- HVAC experience required
- Universal HVAC Certification required
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to emergencies
- Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Resort, apartment, or condominium experience preferred
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, equipment, and facility machinery
- Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Respond to emergency and unscheduled maintenance repairs as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders
- Repair or replace defective parts and test equipment for proper operation
- Perform general maintenance duties including plumbing, carpentry, and repairs throughout the property
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop
- Provide friendly, professional service to guests and team members
- Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions promptly
