About The Position

Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated and Red Seal Certified Mechanical Maintenance Millwright to support the Manufacturing team at their Richmond branch as a full-time, permanent member of the team. The role involves ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are followed, completing scheduled preventative maintenance, conducting repairs on roasting and packaging equipment, and ensuring all related documentation for plant and facility equipment is complete. The Millwright will also work cooperatively with staff to meet production and maintenance objectives in a well-organized, friendly, and dynamic work environment.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical Millwright experience in a food and beverage manufacturing environment, or other relevant industry
  • Mechanical Millwright experience with high-speed packaging machinery
  • Electrical and PLC experience and knowledge
  • Dual-Ticket Millwright & Electrician
  • High degree of knowledge regarding SQF, HACCP, GMP, and Health and Safety Programs

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety related requirements are followed
  • Completing all regularly scheduled preventative maintenance
  • Conducting repairs on various roasting and packaging equipment
  • Ensuring all related documentation for all plant and facility equipment is complete
  • Work cooperatively with all staff to ensure all production and maintenance objectives are met
