Responsible for the Mechanical Maintenance operations on an assigned shift to ensure that all equipment is operating effectively. This role involves maintaining electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, as well as the physical building structure and cosmetics. The position also includes responsibility for all equipment, including general maintenance, ordering parts, and requesting repair services. The Mechanical Maintenance Class 1 assists supervisors in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, welding, masonry, boiler, HVAC, and electrical systems, and supports all personnel with their job duties. The role requires keeping supervisors informed, making recommendations for areas needing attention, and providing proper safety and security for company assets and personnel. Understanding and enforcing all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department, maintaining daily logs, maintenance forms, and requested reports are key responsibilities. The position also requires staying knowledgeable of all property events, attending mandatory meetings and training, and maintaining confidentiality. Sensitivity to Native American Culture is important, and the role operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual, Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and other applicable regulations, securing the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
