The Maintenance Generalist is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position supports production in a fresh food manufacturing environment while maintaining compliance with Tyson policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves working in a fresh plant environment, including raw and fresh product processing areas, with exposure to moisture, cleaning chemicals, and production equipment. Maintenance activities must protect food safety and prevent contamination, and work is coordinated around production schedules and sanitation windows. The position requires adherence to all OSHA, USDA, food safety, and Tyson policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE, and safe work practices.
