We are seeking a highly organized, safety focused Mechanical Lab Technician to support daily laboratory operations, equipment management, prototyping activities, and engineering support functions. This position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced engineering tools, metrology equipment, rapid prototyping technologies, and laboratory operations while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience in laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering support environments.
Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD.
Experience with metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain safe, organized, and efficient lab operations with a strong focus on EHS compliance.
Manage inventory, equipment assets, tools, prototypes, and supplies.
Coordinate maintenance, calibration, and vendor activities.
Support engineering teams with CAD updates, prototyping, measurements, and equipment setup.
Operate and maintain fabrication and lab equipment, including 3D printers and CNC equipment.
Assist with equipment retrofits, shipping/logistics, and documentation.
Develop and maintain SOPs, safety procedures, and operational documentation.
