Mechanical Integration Team Lead
About The Position
Advanced Flow Systems Contract Manufacturing is looking for an experienced and energetic Mechanical Integration Team Lead to join our Production/Operations department in Chilliwack, BC. The Mechanical Integration Team Lead is responsible for the smooth and safe operation of his/her team, assisting Team Members to meet project expectations. The position requires an individual who is comfortable interacting with other stakeholders in the company. It is a fast-paced environment requiring one to multi-task while performing the duties of the job. The Integration Team Lead must set an example by working in a safe manner, following all Health and Safety policies and procedures, and using proper PPE.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong Production Planning skills, and Analytical analysis to measure Performance.
- Competent with Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Teams
- Must have experience with CPVC and PVC Piping Systems
- Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience with P&ID schematics
Nice To Haves
- It is preferred that the candidate is a Red Seal Plumber.
- Experience in Gas Fitting, Boilers, and HVAC Installation.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Plant Manager.
- Develop Production Plans in Relation to Integration Activities; Measure against those plans
- Accountable for the team’s production goals
- Train, Mentor, and encourage fellow Teammates
- Must have experience assembling and Testing Piping Assemblies
- This is a “hands on” position and be working very closely with the assemblers on the production Floor
- Lead by example
- Perform work in a safe manner by following all safety rules and practices
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE): steel-toed footwear, safety glass, face mask, etc.
- Report any unsafe work practices or dangerous work habits
- Monitor work area by checking for trip hazards, unsafe or faulty equipment and/or any unsafe conditions.
- Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records
