About The Position
This is skilled inspectional work in enforcing the regulations governing the installation, repair and operation of heating, air conditioning and related mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- Graduation from a standard senior high school or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test.
- Two years of trade school or college coursework in mechanical, heating, and air conditioning installation and repair work.
- A minimum of three years of experience in heating and air conditioning at the journeyman level.
- Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
- Must attain certification as a Residential Mechanical Inspector from the International Code Council within six months of employment.
