Mechanical Foreman
About The Position
PC is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to manage and work with multiple crew members on self-perform projects, and with a range of trade disciplines. It is preferred that candidates have three years experience as a mechanical foreman, six years of overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems, working with large diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping systems, installation of process equipment for wastewater treatment plants, and expertise with rigging of piping and equipment. Also a willingness to assist will ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals is required.
Requirements
- Three years experience as a mechanical foreman
- Six years of overall experience with installation of flanged piping systems
- Six years of overall experience working with large diameter aboveground flanged ductile iron piping systems
- Six years of overall experience with installation of process equipment for wastewater treatment plants
- Expertise with rigging of piping and equipment
- Willingness to assist with ancillary work such as miscellaneous metals
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the crew
- Read and interpret drawings, perform material take-off, and order materials
- Plan and schedule the work for the crew, daily, weekly, and monthly basis to include integrating subcontractor work as needed
- Work with tools when needed, and train/mentor
- Travel to jobsites as required
