About The Position

The Engineering Technician will perform the following duties: Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes Use complex measurement equipment to collect and record data Execution of designed test protocol and conduct testing Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data Help scope equipment for use and complete qualifications Assist engineers in development of test fixtures and test methods Operate and maintain test equipment Use typical hand tools to build and set-up equipment using drawings and other documentation Works with team to organize lab functions & test equipment Notifies manager upon recognition of factors that may affect project Effective documentation and communication of test results Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• A combination of equivalent education and experience or a minimum of training beyond high school or secondary school in a technical discipline with more than 2 years relevant experience or a combination of equivalent education and experience
• Experience using laboratory test equipment
• Demonstrated knowledge and familiarity of electro-mechanical devices
• Proficiency with personal computers and experience using MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Ability to follow directions and effectively execute written and verbal instructions
• Ability to work closely and collaborate in a team environment
• Good attention to detail
