About The Position
A mechanical and plumbing engineering firm specializing in custom designs and complex building solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Project Manager to help them deliver thoughtful, technically sound HVAC and plumbing solutions for building projects from design through construction at their Sacramento office. You’ll collaborate with engineers, clients, and construction teams while supporting projects throughout Northern California.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a consulting engineering or design/build environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare projects, BMS controls, hydronics, plumbing, energy systems, and construction support is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- EIT or PE certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC, ventilation, hydronic, and plumbing systems for building projects.
- Manage mechanical projects from planning and design through bidding and construction support.
- Develop building energy models and evaluate energy-efficient system solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, calculations, and construction support materials using Revit and AutoCAD.
