Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience); a Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
- 10+ overall years of experience
- Successful track record in a leadership capacity in mechanical engineering, preferably in high-tech or AI-focused industries.
- Outstanding skills in mechanical design, CAD software, and engineering analysis tools.
- A track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- 3+ years of leadership experience leading teams involved in designing mechanical systems.
- A passion for innovation and a dedication to continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead a world-class team of mechanical engineers to successfully implement groundbreaking designs and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with teams across multiple functions to determine and define project requirements, ensuring flawless completion of the work you're doing.
- Apply your demonstrated expertise in coordinating the development of detailed mechanical systems for our ambitious AI, robotics, and self-driving car initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, following established industry standards.
