About The Position
The student will work in the Troy, OH facility with the Troy Engineering group contributing to improvement projects that support the technical/sales and shop staff of the Troy assembly plant. Education Requirements: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Engineering degree program at a University/College. Pay Rate: $22.00/hour Shift: 1st shift
Requirements
- Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
- Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
- Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals

Responsibilities
- Technical communications and the use of Microsoft Office software tools to document/support engineering projects.
- CAD drafting (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) for special parts design or shop tools and layouts.
- Professional interaction with employees in the office and Shop.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Develop an understanding of SEW products and their applications.
