About The Position

The student will work in the Troy, OH facility with the Troy Engineering group contributing to improvement projects that support the technical/sales and shop staff of the Troy assembly plant.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Engineering degree program at a University/College.
  • Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
  • Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
  • Ability to log, analyze and interpret data to develop process improvement proposals

Responsibilities

  • Technical communications and the use of Microsoft Office software tools to document/support engineering projects.
  • CAD drafting (SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD) for special parts design or shop tools and layouts.
  • Professional interaction with employees in the office and Shop.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • Develop an understanding of SEW products and their applications.
